- Mmûso whakho ute;
- Itshadzo yhakho iyetwe eliphaseni
- jhaloga iyetwa elitûlwînî.
- ùsiphe lamuhlajhe mukhupha whetfu
- whelilaga lelinye lhalelinye;
- ùsimabhele miladvu yhetfu
- jhaloga lhatshi simabhela labasisîdzelwe;
- ùgasiyisi emuligweni,
- ùmbhe ùsitfukulle ebubînî.

- This translation of the Our Father (Lord's Prayer) into Phuthi -- in the Mpapa/Daliwe dialect of the language -- was done in Mpapa Village, near Mount Moorosi, Lesotho, in June 1995. The translators were Khethang Rateleki, Maloro Matlama and Simon Donnelly (1995, Emavi kuMulîmu [Words/Voices to God]. ms, University of Illinois, Urbana).
