Ϧⲉⲛ `ⲫⲣⲁⲛ `ⲙ`Ⲫⲓⲱⲧ
This page is about the Lord's prayer, as said in the Coptic Orthodox Church. You need to have the CS Avva Shenouda font to be properly installed on your computer in order to view the Lord's Prayer in Coptic. The CS (Coptic Standard) fonts are available here. Alternatively, you can convert from different fonts here. The unicode version requires v. 3.4 of the New Athena Unicode font.

English translation
[edit]The following version of the Lord's prayer is used in Coptic Orthodox Church services when translated from Coptic and Egyptian Arabic.
In the name of the Father,
And of the Son,
And of the Holy Spirit,
One God. Amen.
Our Father, who art in heaven,
Hallowed be thy Name.
Thy kingdom come.
Thy will be done,
On earth as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our bread for the morrow.
And forgive us our trespasses,
As we forgive those who trespass against us.
And lead us not into temptation,
But deliver us from evil.
For thine is the kingdom,
and the power, and the glory,
for ever and ever. Amen.
Glory be to the Father,
And to the Son,
And to the Holy Spirit,
One God. Amen.
