WHEREAS, to ensure effective and efficient provision of public service and in compliance to the above stated provisions of law, the august body duly enacted City Ordinance No. 2021-25 on 07 September 2021 entitled "AN ORDINANCE CREATING THE FOLLOWING TWO (2) POSITIONS UNDER THE EXECUTIVE DEPARTMENT OF THE LOCAL GOVERNMENT UNIT OF THE CITY OF ALAMINOS, PANGASINAN:
A- CITY GOVERNMENT ASSISTANT DEPARTMENT HEAD I UNDER THE CITY HEALTH OFFICE
B-CITY GOVERNMENT ASSISTANT DEPARTMENT HEAD I UNDER THE CITY AGRICULTURE OFFICE
WHEREAS, the Civil Service Commission pursuant to CSC Memorandum Circular No. 01, series of 2013 provides for the amendment to CSC MC No. 19 series of 2007 specifically the Qualification Standards for Agriculturist positions in government;
WHEREAS, to comply with the latest issuance of the Civil Service Commission, as the central personnel agency of the government, there is a need to amend City Ordinance No. 2021-25 duly enacted on 07 September 2022,
NOW, THEREFORE, upon due deliberation of the merits surrounding the issue and on motion of Councilor Dahlia M. de Leon, duly seconded by all members present
BE IT ENACTED AS IT IS HEREBY ENACTED BY THE SANGGUNIANG PANLUNGSOD IN SESSION ASSEMBLED THAT:
SECTION I. TITLE. This ordinance shall be known as: "AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION IV PARAGRAPH B OF CITY ORDINANCE NO. 2021-25 SPECIFICALLY ON THE QUALIFICATION STANDARD FOR THE POSITION OF CITY GOVERNMENT ASSISTANT DEPARTMENT HEAD I UNDER THE CITY AGRICULTURE OFFICE"
SECTION II. AMENDMENT.-Section IV (B) of City Ordinance No. 2021-25 which reads as follows:
B. City Government Assistant Department Head I (SG23/1) under the CAgO
Education : Bachelor's Degree
Experience : Three (3) years of relevant experience
Training : Sixteen (16) hours of relevant training
Eligibility : Republic Act 1080
Residency : Bonafide resident of the City of Alaminos, Pangasinan
