This template is for placing text above another text. It is imported from the English Wikisource version, which is based on the Wikipedia template {{overset}}.

Syntax
[edit]The syntax is:
{{overscript|base|over}}
Required parameters:
base (1)
: This is the base text.over (2)
: This is the overscript text above the base text.
Optional parameters:
os-offset
: Adjusts the line-height of the overscript and this changes vertical distance between the overscript and the base. Default is 0.8em.os-size
: Adjusts the font-size of the overscript. Default is 70%.os-padding
: Adjusts the left and the right padding of the overscripted text (to clearly separate it from other text). Default is 0.1em.
