Pa la busca y rebusca ú hay quien diga
Qu' á isti cura aventaxa ni apareya,
Pos regüelve en llibrotes d' escorneyá
Y estrúyeyos el zumen sin fatiga.
Con mayor pesu que en llagar la viga
Sin fuelgu y con el rixu que i arreya
La pacencia probada de la abeya
Y el trabayu teñaz de la formiga.
Ansina xuntó elli so tesoru
Que val, como se diz, l' oru y el moru
Llabrau y enriquecíu con so caltér;
Y lleyendo sos versos de tenrura
Asómase á les mientes la fegura
