Teachers are repuested to explain to their pupils that, in the story An t-Sean-Ċailleaċ Sa Ċófra, the grotesque character called an stracaire, who acts with such apparent cruelty and injustice, is none other than a divine emissary, sent to punish the wealthy brother and his household for their uncharitable behaviour towards their starving relatives.
