EXPLANATORY NOTE
WHEREAS. Resolution No. 74, S-1982 of the Sangguniang Bayan of Asingan, Pangasinan, authorized the former Mayor Felixberto R. Ramos to donate FIVE HUNDRED (500) square meters lot owned by the Municipality of Asingan for Asingan Police Station;
WHEREAS, sometime in 1994, a subdivision survey of the lot which was the subject of donation showed that the actual area occupied by and m possession of the Asingan National Police Station is approximately five hundred fifty six (556) square meters;
WHEREAS. subsequently ordinance No. I l, S-2004, entitled •'an ordinance donating additional fifty six (56) square meters of the lot owned by the municipality in favor of the Asingan National Police Station was enacted to complete the total land area:
WHEREAS, Ordinance No. l, S-2006 was enacted repealing Resolution No. 74, S-1982 and Ordinance No. I l, S-2004 to give a leeway to enact new ordinance donating the whole five hundred fifty six (556) square meters to avoid payment of penalties for donors tax and the issuance oftwo titles, one for the 500 square meters and for the 56 square meters;
NOW THEREFORE. on motion of Councilors Roseller A. Viray and Evangeline P. Dorao, duly seconded by Councilors Porferio R. Tendero and Melchor J. Cardinez, Sr. it was;
RESOLVED, as it hereby resolved to approve the following ordinance to wit:

AN ORDINANCE DONATING FIVE HUNDRED FIFTY SIX (556) SQUARE METERS LOT OF THE MUNICIPALITY IN FAVOR OF THE ASINGAN POLICE STATION, ASINGAN PANGASINAN
Section l. TITLE — This Ordinance shall be as an Ordinance donating FIVE HUNDRED FIFTY SIX (556) square meters lot of the municipality in favor of the Asingan Police Station, Asingan, Pangasinan.
Section 2. PURPOSE — This ordinance is enacted for the purpose of donating the entire FIVE HUNDRED FIFTY SIX (556) square meters lot of the municipality in favor ofthe Asingan Police Station which is the actual arca occupied and in possession of the Police Station.
