WHEREAS, as a tourist destination, the City of Alaminos is expecting large
influx of guests/visitors to enjoy the Hundred Islands National Park (HINP) and other
tourist destination in Western Pangasinan;
WHEREAS, to ensure order and minimize traffic congestion within the central business district, there is a need to designate temporary parking area within the business district;
WHEREAS, as per consultation with the concerned LGU offices, the identified area to be designated as temporary parking area during the observance of Undas 2022 is the following:
"Portion of C.P. Garcia St. (between Plaza Marcelo Ochave and Alaminos City Hall Building) and portion of Quintos St., from intersection of Quezon Avenue and C.P. Garcia St. to intersection of C.P. Garcia St. and Quintos St., and from intersection of C.P. Garcia St. and Quintos St. to intersection of Quintos St. and San Jose Drive."
NOW, THEREFORE, upon due deliberation on the proposal and on motion of Councilor Verna S. D. Rabago, duly seconded by all members present
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE SANGGUNIANG PANLUNGSOD OF THE CITY
OF ALAMINOS, PANGASINAN, IN SESSION ASSEMBLED, that:
SECTION 1. ORDINANCE PROVIDING FOR THE TEMPORARY FULL CLOSURE OF PORTION OF C.P. GARCIA ST. (BETWEEN PLAZA MARCELO OCHAVE AND ALAMINOS CITY HALL BUILDING) AND PORTION OF QUINTOS ST., FROM INTERSECTION OF QUEZON AVENUE AND C.P. GARCIA ST. TO INTERSECTION OF C.P. GARCIA ST. AND QUINTOS ST., AND FROM INTERSECTION OF C.P. GARCIA ST. AND QUINTOS ST. TO INTERSECTION OF QUINTOS ST. AND SAN JOSE DRIVE FROM OCTOBER 29, 2022 TO NOVEMBER 02, 2022 TO SERVE AS TEMPORARY PARKING AREA DURING THE OBSERVANCE OF UNDAS 2022;
SECTION 2. This ordinance shall take effect upon approval.
