d) Upon review of qualifications and requirements, the BWRAC shall submit a recommendation to the appropriate authority, the list of accredited BHWS (to the Local Health Board), BNSS (to the City Nutrition Council), and (City Peace & Order Council for CVOS). The final accreditation of these barangay workers shall be through a resolution passed by the respective board/council. This shall be the basis of the grant of allowance.

SECTION 5. QUALIFICATION FOR BARANGAY WORKERS. Barangay Worker must possess the following qualifications: The Alaminos City

a) For Barangay Health Worker

1. At least eighteen (18) years old, but not more than sixty (60) years old;

2. Able to read and write;

3. Bonafide resident of the barangay for at least four (4) years and can speak the dialect well;

4. Mentally and physically fit;

5. Must be of good moral character, with no pending administrative and/or criminal case before any court/authorized body, and has never been found guilty/convicted of any administrative offense and/or crime;

6. Must have completed the basic training for BHWs as required by the City Health Office and/or Department of Health; and

7. Must have rendered voluntary service at the barangay health center for at least six (6) months.

b) For Barangay Nutrition Scholar

1. At least eighteen (18) years old, but not more than sixty (65) years old;

2. Able to read and write;

3. Bonafide resident of the barangay for at least four (4) years, with ability to speak the

dialect;

4. Physically and mentally fit;

5. Must be of good moral character, with no pending administrative and/or criminal case before any court/authorized body, and has never been found guilty/convicted of any administrative offense and/or crime;

6. Must have completed the basic training by an authorized institution; and

7. Must have rendered voluntary service at the barangay for at least six (6) months.

c) For CVO member

1. At least eighteen (18) years old but not more than sixty (60) years old;

2. Able to read and write;

3. Bonafide resident of the barangay for at least four (4) years, with ability to speak the

dialect;

4. Physically and mentally fit;

5. Must be of good moral character, with no pending administrative and/or criminal case before any court/authorized body, and has never been found guilty/convicted of any administrative offense and/or crime;

6. Must have completed the basic training by an authorized institution; and

7. Must have rendered voluntary service at the barangay for at least six (6) months.
