2) for international and worldwide level of competitions - must be a Filipino citizen, must submit authentic certification from appropriate authority/agency and the grantee that he/she had been the official coach/trainer of the grantee for not less than six (6) months, must submit proof of membership to the national coaches' and trainers' pool, submit proof that he/she is recognized and accredited by the Philippine Sports Commission and has represented the country as an official coach and trainer to national athletes in international competitions.

SECTION 5. NUMBER OF GRANTEES. The number of grantees under this program depends on how many athletes have qualified and complied with the requirements set forth in this ordinance.

SECTION 6. THE CITY SPORTS DEVELOPMENT COUNCIL. There is hereby created a City Sports Development Council, which is primarily tasked to develop potential athletes through a well-synchronized year-round calendar of sports activities and physical fitness programs for the city residents, especially the youth. It shall also judiciously screen applicants for the sports incentive based on the qualifications set forth in this ordinance and its implementing rules and regulations.

The City Sports Development Council shall be composed of the following:

Chairperson : City Mayor

Vice Chairperson : City Vice Mayor

Members :

Chairman of the SP Committee on Sports Development

Liga ng mga Barangay President

Pederasyon ng Panlungsod na Sangguniang Kabataan President

City Budget Officer

City Planning and Development Coordinator

Department of Education (in case of Elementary and High School students) Commission on Higher Education (in case of college students)

City Local Government Operations Officer (DILG Officer)

Representative of Civil Society Organizations - Sports Sector

The Sports Development Office shall serve as the Secretariat of the City Sports Development Council.

SECTION 7. AMOUNT OF INCENTIVES.

(a) For individual sports and athletic competitions, qualified grantees shall be entitled to receive the following cash incentives:

Provincial/ Regional Competitions

1st Place/Gold Medalist - Php 5,000.00

2nd Place/Silver Medalist - Php 4,000.00

3rd Place/Bronze Medalist - Php 3,000.00

National Competitions

1st Place/Gold Medalist - Php 10,000.00

2nd Place/Silver Medalist - Php 8,000.00

3rd Place/Bronze Medalist - Php 6,000.00
