ORDINANCE PROVIDING FOR THE TEMPORARY FULL CLOSURE OF PORTION OF QUEZON AVENUE FROM SM AREA (OPPOSITE SIDE OF PNP STATION) PASSING THROUGH IMELDA DRIVE (APANG'S ON THE RIGHT SIDE AND DERMCARE ON THE LEFT SIDE); F. REINOSO STREET (WEST OF NEPO MART ON THE RIGHT SIDE AND MARCOS AVENUE ON THE LEFT SIDE); CARLOS P. GARCIA STREET(WEST OF CITY HALL BUILDING ON THE RIGHT SIDE AND WEST OF LEGISLATIVE BUILDING ON THE LEFT SIDE) AND SAN JOSE DRIVE ON FEBRUARY 11, 2018 FROM ONE O'CLOCK IN THE AFTERNOON TO SIX O'CLOCK IN THE EVENING FOR THE REGION 1 ATHLETIC ASSOCIATION (RIAA) PARADE
EXPLANATORY NOTE
WHEREAS, the City of Alaminos, Pangasinan will be hosting the 2018 Region 1 Athletic Association Meet (R1AA) on February 11 to 16, 2018;
WHEREAS, one of the scheduled activities to signal the official opening of the sports competition is the Region 1 Athletic Association parade on February 11, 2018 along Quezon Avenue going to San Jose Drive and ends at the Alaminos City National High School;
WHEREAS, to ensure the smooth flow of the activity, there is a need to temporarily close portion of Quezon Avenue and San Jose Drive on the said date;
NOW, THEREFORE, on motion of Councilor Froebel A. Ranoy, duly seconded by Councilor Cirila B. Radoc, Councilor Carolyn D. Sison, Councilor Rany S. de Leon, Councilor Perlito V. Rabago and Liga ng mga Barangay President Raul B. Bacay
