Sabrning kosasi to‘lgandir,
Bu og‘ir ayriliq to‘ydirgan,
Oh, qancha azoblar bo‘lgandir,
Go‘zalim, xabaring bo‘lmagan!

Och, axir, ochgilkim ko‘ksingni,
Bir nafas o‘zimni unutay.
Unutmoq butunlay «o‘zlik»ni,
Oh, shundan najotni men topay.

Kechalar, kechalar… oh, sensiz va oysiz.
Bir kecha menga xuddi bir yildir.
Qaytarib aytalar: «Kechalar – ro‘yosiz,
Oldingda…» ko‘p og‘ir bir yo‘ldir!

Ey darvesh, bu yo‘lda birgina yo‘lchi – sen,
Ketaver, bir kuni so‘ngiga yetarsen!..
