Laylini firoqida afsona ekan mendek.

G‘am tog‘ida qon yig‘lab, Shirin g‘amida Farhod,
Hasratda o‘shal oshiq hayrona ekan mendek.

O‘rtandi Zulayxo ko‘p Yusufni firoqida,
Har baldada dildori begona ekan mendek.

Ovorai hijronlar sahroi malomatda,
Mushtoqi visoli ul jonona ekan mendek.

Ey mahvashi barnolar, jon kuydirib oshiqlar,
Ruxsorini sham’ig‘a parvona ekan mendek.

Mayxonalara kelmish maxmura dareg‘ etma,
May sun kechalar muhtoj paymona ekan mendek.

Uzroni g‘ami birla Vomiqni dilu ko‘ngli,
Ishq ofatida Bimiy vayrona ekan mendek.
